‘Luci and Desi’ Will Star Cate Blanchett As Lucille Ball
“LUCY, I’M HOME!”
According to E!, they have confirmed that the authorized biopic on Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz will focus on their 20 year marriage, and they say that the film will “explore the tumultuous business and romantic relationship between Ball and Arnaz, who married in 1940 before coming together to create the massively successful I Love Lucy sitcom through their production company Desilu, which launched other popular shows like Family Affair, Star Trek and more.”
The film will be scripted by Aaron Sorkin, and Amazon Studios will have rights to the film.
Also, the couple’s children will be producing the film alongside Escape Artists’ Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch.
Is it too much to ask the team involved to have Cate Blanchett recreate the Vitameatavegamin commercial?
If Amy Cooper were a jelly doughnut, she would be a ‘Sarcasm-filled Doughnut.’
