The Beauty Trends We Wouldn’t Hate to See Left Behind in 2017
Part of the fun of hair and makeup is experimenting a little. Dye your hair a different color! Try out a bold lipstick! But in 2017, we’ve seen more than just bold lips and neon eyeliner. Beauty junkies have tried out some pretty, um, out there trends. Here are some of the wackiest beauty trends we’ve seen this year:
Wavy brows
This look sort of seems like you tried to pencil in your eyebrows after having a few too many mimosas at brunch.
Bubble nails
We can’t imagine that a bubble manicure would be practical if you had to text on your phone or type an e-mail on your computer. Plus, how long does this take to get done!?
Feather brows
This looks cool in a picture, but in real life it would probably cause people to do a double take. It’s almost like you just have really unruly eyebrow hair, except the person rocking this trend probably paid good money to have it done.
Unicorn hair
While the colors in this unicorn-esque ‘do look beautiful, it’s a tad My Little Pony to be practical in a real world setting. Also, can you imagine how much time you’d have to spend in the salon in order to keep this looking fresh?
Highly involved lip art
This is all well and good until you want to take a sip of your morning coffee or go out to lunch with friends…
Wavy lips

First the wavy brows trend hit, and now it’s all about wavy lips. This is a little cartoonish for our tastes. It would be great for Halloween, but it seems excessive for everyday wear.
We’re all for being adventurous with your hair and makeup (after all, you only live once) but we wouldn’t hate to see these beauty trends retired sometime in the near future.
