Selena Gomez Reveals Large Scar After Having An Organ Transplant
Earlier this morning, Selena Gomez shocked fans after announcing she had recently undergone an organ transplant.
The operation happened over the summer after the pop star reportedly was suffering from kidney failure.
In addition to sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram of a photo laying side by side in the hospital with Francia Raisa (Selena’s friend who donated her kidney,) Gomez also added a photo of her scar. The healed incision spans from her hip to under her navel.
The procedure was performed as a result of kidney failure stemming from Lupus.We applaud Selena and Raisa for being so brave during the operation and we’re so happy to hear both have made a full recovery.
