Community Blood Center Needs Blood Donors To Replenish Supplies
Southwest FL, Sept. 19, 2017: NCH Community Blood Center had to suspend collection operations after the storm due to damage from Hurricane Irma. Now there is a need to replenish blood supplies with the help of local donors. The local public is being encouraged to take time out and donate.
NCH Community Blood Center is requesting that whole blood donors give their gifts of life on the air conditioned bloodmobiles. People who successfully donate at the following bloodmobile blood drives will receive a movie ticket:
Tues. 9/19: 1- 6 pm: Ave Maria University: 5050 Ave Maria Blvd. Ave Maria, 34142
Wed. 9/20: 1:30 – 5 pm: NCH North Naples Hospital: 11190 Health Park Blvd. Naples, 34110. Bloodmobile parked in North lot at the Brookdale entrance

While NCH Community Blood Center had adequate supplies both before and immediately following the hurricane, it now needs to see a continued response from willing donors.
