Former Glee Star To Serve Prison Time For Possessing Child Pornography
Glee Star Mark Salling has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography.
Earlier today, the actor appeared in court on multiple counts of possession of child pornography. Salling agreed to a plea deal which drastically reduced his prison time. He was initially facing up to 20 years in prison.
Court documents published on The Blast‘s website reveal Salling will spend between four to seven years in jail.
A report on TMZ back in 2015 indicated Salling was arrested on suspicion of possessing child pornography. At the time, authorities acted on a tip from Salling’s former girlfriend.
Once a warrant was obtained, police found thousands of pornographic images on several of Salling’s electronic devices.
The Blast also noted that once released from jail, the Glee star will be under the supervision of authorities for 20 years. He will also have to register as a sex offender.
