Human Interest

When you think about it, Thanksgiving is truly the ideal holiday.

You get time off of work. You get to spend time with family and friends. You’re not expected to buy gifts. You’re encouraged to eat exorbitant amounts of food, then take a nap until you feel ready to eat some more.

In honor of this most joyous day, Stove Top has created a pair of pants specifically for the occasion. The trousers are maroon, unisex, and feature a special stretchy waistband specifically for when you plan to eat a lot.

There’s nothing worse than chowing down on plate after plate of food, only to feel totally restricted by the button on your jeans, you know? The pants even include stuffing print pockets.

We love this idea, and had a few other inventions that we think would be perfect for Thanksgiving:

A wine glass holder with turkeys on it

It’s a lanyard that hangs around your neck and holds your wineglass steady so you don’t have to tie up a free hand holding your drink, while also trying to balance a plate, as seen below.

Wine Glass Holder Necklace

Free up your hands at wine tastings or festivals with a necklace that holds your wine glass. If you want to buy one, click this link. It won't cost you anything extra, and we'll make some money to support our videos: http://insder.co/WineNecklace The INSIDER team believes that life is an adventure!

But wait! This one should be emblazoned with turkeys! Perfect for the occasion.

A food coma timer

You ate too much turkey and you just need a teensy nap, but you don’t want to sleep too long or you’ll miss pumpkin pie. This handy timer automatically sets itself and wakes you up justttt in time for dessert. Food coma, be gone!

Noise canceling headphones that only drown out nosy relatives

Your Aunt Jenny is physically incapable of going one Thanksgiving without asking you why you’re still single, when you plan not to be single, and when you’re going to have babies. These headphones are noise canceling when aggravating relatives are involved, but still allow you to partake in other conversations.

A side dish perfector

You’ve been tasked with bringing green bean casserole to the family Thanksgiving and you don’t even know where to begin. You’re cooking for 20 people and it’s a LOT of pressure. Life was much easier when you were still stuck at the kids’ table. Don’t worry, pop the ingredients into this side dish perfector, wait a little while, and bam! Out comes a perfectly cooked green bean casserole. Your family will be amazed.

Happy Thanksgiving! And remember, calories don’t count today. Enjoy!
