Winter storm brings snow to Florida…bitter cold to the Southeast in general…and now the east coast is bracing for what forecasters are calling a bomb cyclone with hurricane force winds…coastal flooding and up to a foot of snow…
Locally temps are in the 30’s this morning across many SW Florida communities…with no real warm-up until Sunday…

Police have set up crime scenes at Healthpark Hospital and also at a 2nd location on Gladiolus Drive and Edisto way. They’re apparently investigating a shooting, as a car riddled with bullet holes could be seen at the hospital, but no further information is available at this time.

A frozen pig theft in Lee County led to the arrest of 43 year old Onil Rivas-Perez. The trailer of frozen pig meat was allegedly stolen in Atlanta. The suspect was booked into the Lee County jail…He has since been released
