Walmart is following the lead of Dick’s Sporting Goods. The retail giant announced yesterday that it will no longer sell firearms to people younger than 21, and they’re modifying their online policy as well and will no longer offer items resembling assault-style rifles. Walmart stopped selling semi-automatic weapons in 2015.
A Fort Myers Doctor has been charged with sexually assaulting his patients while performing examinations…2 of those patients are also suing him. Dr Asif Choudhury is facing multiple felony counts. He’s been released from jail and no longer works for Lee Health.
A professor at Florida Southwestern State College has filed a no contact order against one of his students, accusing her of sexual harassment. Professor Matthew Vivyan claims the inappropriate behavior began during a visit to his office by his student Sofia Diaz back in November of last year. Diaz has a court Hearing on March 12th.
