Police are on the scene of Sparta Avenue and Scottsdale Street off State Road 82 conducting a death investigation. The victim is a male, the body was found in the woods...We're hoping to get further information.
Meanwhile, Cape Coral police are looking into a shooting yesterday on SW 31st Lane in which the victim suffered a leg injury. No arrests have been announced.
A Cape Coral home burned to the ground yesterday, the blaze sparked by electrical problems in the home in the 1100 block of SE 29th Street. No one was injured in the fire.
And the hunt continues for Lois Reiss, aka Losing Streak Lois, wanted for killing her husband and a tourist on Fort Myers Beach. Surveillance footage shows Reiss at an Ocala hotel driving the car of the woman she killed Pamela Hutchinson. That car has also been spotted in Texas.
