The search for a North Carolina man who fell off of a cruise ship has been suspended.
According to WNCT, search crews have looked for Brian Lamonds for the last two days -- For a total of 55 hours.
Unfortunately for Lamonds' family, the search has come up empty.
It is believed that Lamonds, 50, went overboard a Carnival Paradise cruise ship that departed from Tampa.
At the time he fell, the cruise ship was near Fort Myers.
It is not known what caused the man to go overboard.
