Coast Guard crews have ended their search for 50 year old Brian Lamonds, a North Carolina man who fell overboard a Carnival cruise ship earlier this week. The search was called off last night at 9pm.
A couple cleaning up trash at Barbara A. Farrell Park in Lehigh Acres made quite the discovery yesterday morning….A stack of what appeared to be money was blowing around the park. They gathered it up, contacted the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, who confirmed the money was fake, the kind used in motion pictures. Close to 15 hundred dollars in Phony money was recovered. There have been several counterfeit money incidents recently in Southwest Florida. Police are continuing their investigation.
