29 year old Fort Myers police officer Adam Jobbers Miller remains in critical condition at Lee Memorial Hospital after being shot Saturday night. A suspect is in custody, 29 year old Wismer Desmaret. Police say he has a history of mental health issues. The FMPD also wants the public to know that they are in need of Type O Negative blood donations for officer Jobbers-Miller.
Cape Coral police had to close down a neighborhood in the Southwest Cape yesterday when a man barricaded himself and his wife in their apartment threatening suicide. The man, who was not identified was taken into custody. Apparently he suffers from PTSD.
