Van Used by Rock Icons Aerosmith in ’70s Found in the Woods
You just never know what you might find in the woods these days. Just ask the hosts of the History Channel show “American Pickers,” In a recent episode, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, hosts of the show, were in Chesterfield, a town of about 1,200 residents 100 miles west of Boston and found a dilapidated van in the woods on a property. The van had belonged to Aerosmith. Ray Tabano, a founding member of Aerosmith, confirmed it was the van the rockers used in the 1970s to drive around to gigs. The pickers paid $25,000 for it. Wolfe says it’s “a piece of American rock and roll history.”
