Florida’s Primary Election is today. Polls are open from 7am-7pm. 2 million people have already voted early or by mail.
Deputies continue to search for a 17-year-old Martha Hossain of Naples Hossain’s family last saw her Sunday evening around 8:30 p.m. at their home. She was wearing a black bathing suit top and blue jean shorts. She is 5 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at (239) 252-9300.
Charlotte County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Brandon Tuttle. Police say Tuttle’s two young children were found half-naked on a stranger’s property, clinging to their father, as he was passed out on the front lawn. Police also found Tuttle in posssession of methamphetamine and marijuana. The Florida Department of Children and Families is investigating.
Collier County has received about $200, 000 in funding to help clean up dead fish in the canals. The 2 month project will work from north to south to clean up the fish kill caused by red tide. Volunteers are welcome to assist in the clean-up project according to County officials.
