The National Hurricane Center identified the system as a tropical storm at 8 a.m. yesterday…..Gordon could become a Category 1 hurricane before making landfall near the Louisiana and Mississippi border by late Tuesday. 22 year old Adam Duarte made a huge miscalculation while trying to elude Cape Coral Police. He jumped into one of the city’s algae-filled canals after fleeing police during a traffic stop…and he was stopped and overcome by the algae. After a search of Duarte’s car, police found THC oil. He’s facing drug charges and resisting arrest.
