8-Year-Old Scolded for Being Too Loud at Baseball Game
Taking your kid out to a baseball game is a tradition as old as the sport. A young Astros fan had been enjoying herself until an adult told her, “Enough!” because the little girl was apparently cheering too much. 8-year-old Chloe Beavers was diagnosed a year and a half ago with DMDD, which stands for disruptive mood dysregulation disorder. Meaning, Chloe can’t comprehend emotions greater than a toddler. “(She made me feel) a little bit guilty ’cause I’m annoying and nobody says that to me,” Chloe said. Her parents wished the woman had addressed them instead. Astros pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. picked up on the incident and tweeted, “Chloe, don’t you EVER stop cheering! I would love for you to cheer us on, as LOUD as you can, during ALDS game 1 in MMP! I would be honored to leave you a ticket!” If you are at a stadium, shouldn’t you expect it to be loud, especially, when watching the defending World Series champs?
