Taco Bell management says they’re looking into a Lee County Detective’s claim that he was served Taco Bell burritos that contained bleach. The detective says he ordered four burritos at a Taco Bell on Lee Blvd when he tasted something bad and his tongue went numb. He’s going to be OK. The Sheriff’s office is investigating the matter as well.
Residents and members of the Estero Design Review Board expressed their reservations with Hertz plans to redesign the building now known as the Germain Arena at a public hearing last night. It looks like were headed for a compromise here. Opposition to the bright yellow Hertz Arena is strong with the Review Board saying the yellow building is not consistent with the city’s overall design
21 year old Kayla Rose Beal has been charged with DUI property damage, and threatening a police officer, after she was arrested while allegedly driving drunk with her 3 month old baby in the car and getting involved in a crash. The crash occurred South of Veterans Parkway near Del Prado. No injuries were reported.
An unidentified inmate was found dead yesterday inside Charlotte County Jail. Guards found a man unresponsive inside his cell with a piece of material tied around his neck. He was pronounced dead just before 6pm.

How Did We Get Here? Pete Davidson Refers to Chevy Chase As a ‘Racist’
- Talk about going 0-100. Pete Davidson called Chevy Chase, an original Saturday Night Live cast member, a racist.
- He was on Howard Stern’s Sirius/XM show on Monday and had words for Chevy Chase. He asked, what has he done since 1983? (a simple Google search could have cleared this up.)
- Pete said he hates Chevy Chase and that he is a genuinely bad and racist person. He does not state why he is referring to him as a racist but back in March Donald Glover did refer to Chevy Chase as a racist for insensitive comments he made on the “Community.”
