Police have identified the two men killed in a shooting at the Sungold Plaza on Cleveland Avenue in Fort Myers Wednesday night. They are 41 year old Torre Deontray Fulcher, and 43 year old William Allen Merrill III. Officers found several shell casings in the parking lot of Sungold Plaza and several windows had bullet holes. Fulcher was the owner of Urban Swagger, one of the shops in the plaza. Police believe this was a targeted shooting.
Police are looking for a woman who stole over $750 worth of baby formula on at least two occasions by covering an empty baby carrier with a blanket and concealing the formula underneath. Similar thefts are being investigated at Walmarts in Estero, Naples and Cape Coral. Police say she had two male accomplices. If you have any information that can help police call 1-800-780-TIPS
Cape Coral Police are on the lookout for two suspects who broke into a home, and assaulted and robbed the owner while dressed as police officers. The home is on SW 14th Place in Cape Coral. The suspects stole a phone, some cash and a gun. No arrests have been made.
At least six people died in what has been called the most powerful storm to ever hit the Florida Panhandle. Officials say that those numbers are likely to increase as search crews wade through the debris and explore the areas hardest hit by the storm.
The Florida Department of Health in Collier County has posted health advisories at the following beaches after testing showed bacteria levels in the water to be high.
