Dog Bitten By Rattlesnake Wins Dog of the Year
He saved his owner from a rattlesnake bite, and now Todd the Golden Retriever has been rewarded with Milk-Bone Dog of the Year Honor at the 8th annual Streamy Awards. Todd is the first dog to receive the award as it’s never been given out before. The award was given out at the Streamy Awards. Todd and his owner Paula Godwin were given out the award by Olympic silver medalist and freestyle skier, Gus Kenworthy. If you missed the story, Todd and his owner were hiking when the woman almost stepped on a rattlesnake. That’s when her dog jumped in front of her and was bitten by the rattlesnake. Video and still images showed how the dog’s face swelled up from the snake bite. The Streamy Awards are given out to honor the best online videos and the creators behind them. Has your dog ever saved your life?
