American Airlines Allowing Travelers With Nut Allergies to Board Early so They Can Wipe Down Seats. Travelers with food allergies will now be able to board early to wipe down their seats. American Airlines says the changes will take effect on December 12th when the flight manuals are updated. American Airlines doesn’t serve peanuts but the airline says they can’t guarantee that people with food allergies won’t be exposed to peanuts or tree nuts, so they will allow customers to board early to wipe down seats.
