The Next Thing That’s Not Safe to Drink: Airplane Coffee You might want to get your coffee inside the airport before your flight instead of getting in on the plane. A new airline food study says we travelers should probably avoid the water airplanes use while flying. There have been no reports of anyone getting sick but the report from the EPA says disease-causing pathogens might be in 15 percent of commercial airplane water. The news will make you think twice about getting a coffee or tea on board a flight. Do you bring food and drink on-board flights or do you still get snacks from the flight attendants?
