A shocking death over the weekend on Fort Myers Beach, as the Director of the town's Public Library, Dr. Leroy Hammerding, was stabbed to death with a machete while opening the Library Sunday morning. Police have arrested 36 year old Adam Soules. He's facing first degree murder charges.

Two people were killed, a third hospitalized after a crash between a motorcycle and a pedestrian Saturday night near the Shell Factory. The two deceased identified as 49 year old Roger Miller and 70 year old Paula Griffiths. 49 year old Amy Melick was taken to the hospital. Police are continuing to investigate.
