Officials with OSHA and the Lee County Sheriff's Office are investigating a construction accident at Bonita National Golf and Country Club. A construction worker was killed yesterday morning when a dump truck malfunctioned. No I.D. yet on the deceased.

Police believe drugs or alcohol led to a Cape Coral man's death over the weekend. Police say 50 year old David Giompalo II died when he was ejected from his ATV near his home on SE 23rd Terrace.

25 year old Carla Seal of Alva has been arrested on D.U.I. and other charges after being found slumped over at the wheel with her two children in the car. Police say she caused an accident and took off before being found at a McDonald's on Palm Beach Blvd. Her kids were taken by a family member.

Robocallers are responsible for making millions of calls a week, and even if you’ve placed your name on your state’s ‘Do Not Call List,’ that may still not be enough.
Tech experts say that most spam callers and phone scammers don’t even pay attention to that list.
If you really want the robocalls to stop for good here are a few tips.
There is an app called the Robokiller which intercepts spam calls before your phone even rings. The app uses “answer bots” to keep the callers away. It is $3.99 a month but you can sign up for a free trial.
If you are a Verizon customer beginning in March they are launching a call filter blocking system along with a free spam alerting and call blocking tool that customers can sign up for.
Sprint is working on a tool that will allow users to tell if the number is real or if it is a robocaller “spoofing” a local number. Sprint also offers a robocall alerting and blocking service called Premium Caller ID that customers can sign up for.
AT&T has a few options including AT&T Call Protect, which automatically blocks fraudulent calls. AT&T Phone customers can block unwanted calls from up to 100 numbers by pressing *61 on their device as well.

Man Goes On Ax Spree After Wife Broke His Action Figures

A 34-year-old man in Wisconsin is facing multiple charges after he went on a crazy ax chopping spree.
He reportedly was upset at the fact that his wife damaged his action figures.
He used an ax to smash the family car, he chopped off both side mirrors and then hit the windshield so hard that the ax actually got stuck.
The man eventually called the police to report that he had been drinking and overreacted over the damage to his action figures.
His name was not released, and neither was the name of the specific action figures.

Troll dolls have inspired the latest in fashion-forward hair.
The swoopy up-do that is a style staple of the popular dolls is now the look of the season for men’s fashion according to Esquire magazine.
