21 year old Zephen Zaver, accused of shooting and killing  five people in a Sebring bank Wednesday appeared in court yesterday and the Judge ordered him held without bond. He’s been charged with five counts of pre-meditated murder. He’s been assigned a Public Defender.

 

 

We have the first casualty of the Ron DeSantis administration as his newly appointed Secretary of State, Michael Ertel had to step down yesterday after photos from 2005 surfaced of Ertel at a party in blackface, playing a female Hurricane Katrina victim. Ertel submitted his resignation yesterday afternoon to the Governor via e-mail writing, “It has been an honor to serve you and the voters of Florida.” He had no further comment.

 

Police have arrested 43 year old Printiss Garlin, a known drug dealer from Cape Coral and charged him with drug trafficking and smuggling, plus weapons possession charges. Police intercepted a package addressed to Garlin’s Cape Coral home. Inside that package, over 500 grams of ecstasy. A search os the suspects home also netted fentanyl, two guns, drug paraphernalia and several thousand dollars in cash.

Rams to Make History with Super Bowl’s First-Ever Male Cheerleaders

  • Regardless of whether they win or lose, the Los Angeles Rams are set to make Super Bowl history. Not because of the team’s players, but because of its cheerleaders.
  • Having already scored a first after adding two men to its cheerleading squad at the start of the season, the Rams are poised to become the first team in history to bring male cheerleaders to the Super Bowl.
  • Quinton Peron, one of the newbies, says he expects the history-making appearance to bring about changes in cheerleading across the country, noting he’s already “been reached out to by so many men that are so excited to try out. And not just men our age, but young men trying out for their junior high school dance team or cheer team and high schools.”

 

 

Fifty Shades Author Announces New Book

  • If you are a fan of the stories of E.L. James then here’s something to look forward to.
  • The author of the famous ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ series announced that she has a new book on the way.
  • Her new book is titled, ‘The Mister.’
  • E L said that this book will be a departure from the sexcapades of Christian Grey and will be more of a “21st century Cinderella,” that is “a roller-coaster ride of danger and desire that leaves the reader breathless to the very last page.”

 

Alligators Freeze With Heads Above Water In North Carolina

  • It is so cold in North Carolina that a group of alligators has actually frozen in the swamp.
  • The manager of the swamp park said that it is common for the gators in the area to allow themselves to freeze in the water.
  • They often manage to poke their heads out “at just the right moment” to keep the air flowing.
  • The process is called brumation and is actually a type of hibernating process.
  • The alligators eventually thaw out with no health issues whatsoever.
