Rami Malek Treated by Paramedics After Falling Off Oscars Stage

Following His Best Actor Win Best actor winner, Rami Malek took a tumble off the Dolby Theater stage after receiving his Academy Award. The fall happened after the ceremony was over, however, he took a seat in the front row as paramedics tended to him. Unfortunately, Malek didn’t get to capture his Oscar win with fellow winners, Regina King, Mahershala Ali and Olivia Coleman due to being treated for possible injuries backstage. Malek’s acceptance speech was dedicated to immigrants and people struggling with their identity, “I think to anyone struggling with theirs, and trying to discover their voice, listen, we made a film about a gay man, an immigrant, who lived his life just unapologetically himself,” said Rami.
