Officials are investigating the death of an 11 year old child found in a car at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in Orlando Sunday morning. Orlando police were called to the hospital after 11 year old Aleyda Rivera was found dead in a vehicle suffering from several stab wounds. Police say her mother, 28 year old Rose Alcides Rivera, stabbed the child to death to prevent her from having sex with men.
23 year old DeShane Anderson of Cape Coral has been arrested on multiple drugs and weapons charges after a month long investigation. Police executed a search warrant at Anderson's NE 44th Street home and discovered drugs, drug packaging equipment and several weapons
Police made a marijuana arrest last week in Charlotte County. 21 year old Trevor Coday of Port Charlotte was stopped for running a stop light, and when cops pulled him over they discovered close to a pound on pot hidden in his pants. The suspect was also found with a loaded shotgun, marijuana wax, and prescription drugs. He's already bonded out of jail.
Cape Coral Police have arrested 24 year old Alfredo Escalera on lewd and lascivious behavior charges. Police say Escalera contacted a child back in November 2018 on Snapchat, arranged a meeting where the incident occurred.

Darbin Carrasco-Oseguera of Naples was so hungry over the weekend, police say he threatened a man with a knife and a piece of wood and forced him to drive him to a local restaurant. Then when he got to the restaurant, he cut to the front of the line and hit an employee with a rope. He was eventually apprehended. He's being held on $300,000 bond.
