Fort Myers Police and concerned citizens want to know. Who knocked over the bust of Robert E. Lee that is displayed in Downtown Fort Myers. The vandalism was discovered Tuesday morning. The statue has come under fire in recent years as a symbol of racism, while supporters claim it's a monument to Florida's history and a tribute to the namesake of Lee County. The bust was put back in place by members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.


Lee County Detectives are investigating a shooting in Lehigh Acres. No one was injured. but close to two dozen shots were fired into a home on 8th St Southwest early Tuesday morning.


A man was killed on State Road 80 Tuesday night when he was run over by two vehicles, and police are looking for the driver of the vehicle who hit the man first and then fled the scene. Call CRIME STOPPERS if you have any information.


43 year Tracy Denise George-Sirleaf of Lehigh Acres was arrested Monday after she brandished a machete, allegedly threatening the owner of a Bonita Springs hair salon and acting errtically. After being apprehended she defecated in a patrol car . The suspect has been charged with two counts of assault on a person 65 years of age or older.


Well known Sportscaster Warner Wolf will not be punished for removing a sign from the gated community where he resides in Naples. Wolf, you may remember, was caught on surveillance footage last November removing the word "plantation" from the sign at  Classics Plantation Estates. Wolf will have to complete an "alternative diversion program"
