The Florida Senate has passed a bill that will permit police to stop drivers for texting while driving. The bill will now go to the House for review and a vote.

58 year old Michael O'Conner of Naples has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a customer in the drive-thru lane at a Culver's on US 41 in Naples earlier this week. According to the Collier County Police O'Conner stabbed the victim because their order was taking too long. The victim, who was not identified, was stabbed in the hand and required extensive surgery.

Coastal Village, a student living facility in Estero was raided by the FBI yesterday afternoon. Police were looking for a resident of the complext who apparently wasn't home at the time of the raid. No further information is available.

A 16 year old student at Mariner High School was arrested after bringing a taser to school. The student said it was for protection, nonetheless, the student was arrested and booked on charges of possession of a weapon on school grounds.

Britney Spears has left the mental health treatment facility she’s been at for the past month. Spears was seen leaving with boyfriend Sam Asghari, the couple headed to her Thousand Oaks, California home after her release.
The doctors made sure she had the proper medications and tools in order to continue on the path of success.

They are teaming up with AARP to hire workers over 50.
