The controversial Fly Lounge in Fort Myers, which has seen it’s fair share of police incidents over the past few years, has been issued an eviction notice and must vacate their building on Colonial Boulevard by July 31st. Until then, stricter security measures have been enforced and additional insurance has been purchased according to an agreement between the landlord and management of the club.
Several dozen students at Port Charlotte Adventist School were taken to the hospital as a precaution after a hydrochloric acid spill at the school yesterday. The acid spill happened in a janitors closet, and agents from the Hazmat squad responded. Classes are expected to resume this morning.
