Lee County Deputies are on the lookout for a hit and run driver who injured a legally blind woman as she tried to cross Lee Blvd at Williams Avenue on her specialized scooter. The victim, Jennifer Lynn was on her way to work at the time of the crash. Reportedly a witness took a photo of the car’s license plate and passed that along to police, but no arrest yet.

Police have made an arrest in connection with several bank robberies in Collier County, including earlier this week at The Lake Michigan Credit Union off Collier Blvd. The suspect is 51 year old Richard Paul Cote. He was arrested at a Naples hotel.
