Lady Gaga Announces Upcoming Makeup Line With Amazon

Lady Gaga made a major announcement this week -- the singer and actress will be launching a new beauty line available exclusively on Amazon.

"The last thing the world needs is another beauty line," she says in the promo, which she posted on Instagram. "Too bad."

Haus Laboratories will officially launch this September, The Cut reports. It will be carried on Amazon, making it available in multiple countries around the world, which is a first for many major beauty brands.

The line will feature “multi-use colour items for cheeks, eyes and lips in six shade families and kits containing all three products priced at a relatively affordable $49," Business of Fashion reports.

For now, it will focus exclusively on makeup and not branch into skincare or haircare just yet.

"Color is completely transformative — it’s powerful, it’s beautiful, and it’s how I found my voice with makeup,” Gaga told BOF. “I discovered myself, but also other people discovered me, for me, through the way that I was expressing myself.”
