Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Will Reunite For ‘The Voice’ Season 17
Love is once again in the air at The Voice. Gwen Stefani is returning to The Voice for season 17 with her boyfriend Blake Shelton, who she met on the set of the reality show back in 2015. And it seems, the couple is still as smitten as ever.
Stefani will fill the spinning red chair of Adam Levine, who left the show after 16 seasons. It’s her first time on the show since season 12, but it seems she’s fitting right in. In fact, it’s almost like she never left. “They’re coming up on their four-year anniversary, but Blake and Gwen still act like lovebirds,” a source told People. “They’re really happier than ever, and being back where they first fell in love has been fun for them.”
This time around, Stefani and Shelton will be joined by fellow coaches Kelly Clarkson and John Legend, who won last season. And Shelton knows that Stefani, who replaced Christina Aguilera in seasons 7 and 9, is no rookie. “This will be her fourth time on the show, so she’s no stranger to it,” Shelton told People back in June. “She knows what she’s doing.”
The Voice returns Sept. 23.
