Consumer Reports Reports on What Temperature to Set Your Home AC On
Over the years, we’ve heard many recommendations regarding just how cool our homes should be during the hot and sticky summer months. Just last month, Consumer Reports released some A/C settings recommendations to help cut down energy usage and cost. What’s the bottom line? Study Identifies the Most Unfriendly State in America
Apparently, New Yorkers are doing a great job living up to their reputation as being obnoxious and rude. A new study that ranks all 50 states by friendliness puts the Big Apple dead last. Released Monday, the results of the Big 7-sponsored survey says New Yorkers can be kind, as long as you “don’t dawdle on the sidewalk or hold up traffic taking Instagram shots.” Although neighboring New Jersey finished four spots higher on the list, the study notes residents are known for their “outright rudeness” and “in-your-face personalities.” On the other end of the list, Minnesota comes in as the friendliest state in the country because of its “homey feel and locals who go the extra mile to welcome tourists.” Tennessee comes in second, followed by South Carolina, Texas and Wyoming. Do you agree with the survey? Where have you been where people were ruder than you’ve ever experienced?
