Are You Ready For Some Sunday Night Football?
Sunday Night Football is getting a new show open, with a new rendition of “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night,” with some help from rocker Joan Jett.
Carrie Underwood will star in the Sunday Night Football show open for the seventh consecutive year and invited the rock legend to collaborate with her. Joan Jett’s 1988 classic “I Hate Myself for Loving You” was used for the original “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” Sunday Night Football show open music in 2006. They will also be joined by NFL stars (to be announced on Monday) in the new show open.
At halftime of this Sunday night’s preseason game on NBC , a sneak preview of the Sunday Night Football show open will air. The full 2019 NBC Sunday Night Football show open will debut on Sunday, Sept. 8, as the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Earlier this summer, Underwood invited Jett to perform with her at the CMA Festival.

Some of her other interests include learning to paddle-board, looking, and being more fit as well as learning to shoot a firearm. Sheila is also a member of the board for GROW Education Inc., a non-profit organization connecting schoolchildren to resources to promote the arts and literacy.
