Hurricane Dorian is starting to pull away from Florida but is also strengthening on Wednesday afternoon. The hurricane is now a Category 3 with 115 mph winds. Thankfully, hurricane-force winds are staying offshore, but tropical storm winds are impacting the coastline from Jacksonville, FL through Georgia and South Carolina. Dorian still has a chance to make landfall in South Carolina or North Carolina over the next couple of days if the storm’s track takes a wobble. In addition, A tropical wave coming off of Africa has a 50 percent chance to develop in the next five days, according to the National Hurricane Center. This is actually down 10 percent from the Wednesday morning outlook.

A North Fort Myers man was found dead and decaying in the woods Wednesday afternoon. It happened just off Woods Road near Business 41.  The maintenance worker in the surrounding neighborhood made the disturbing discovery while surveying the woods with a tree company. The homeless man was well-liked in the neighborhood and was known to collect cans to make a living. He hadn’t been seen by neighbors for about three weeks.

Early Wednesday morning, Hendry County deputies found a body in a burned vehicle. They received a call about a vehicle fire near 13th Street and Virginia Avenue, Harlem, in the Clewiston area, according to an HCSO news release. Then, they found a body inside. Investigators are not releasing the victim’s name to the public at this time but are asking for the community’s help in providing them with information. If you saw anything suspicious in the area or have any information about this incident, you are encouraged to call the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office at 863-674-5600 or Crime Stoppers at 1-8020-780-TIPS (8477), where you may be eligible for up to a $3,000 reward.

Mario Lopez Hints at Possible ‘Saved by the Bell’ Reunion

OMG!!!!! Mario Lopez was recently at a Fan Expo in Canada and hinted at a possible Saved by the Bell reunion. He said, we couldn’t be in high school still so you’d have to be creative with the premise. Who knows? You never say never. Mario said the whole cast is on board but there hasn’t been any progress on a potential storyline.
