Dennis Quaid, 65, Is Engaged to Laura Savoie, 26

Dennis Quaid has gotten engaged to a woman nearly four decades younger than him. The actor confirmed the news to Extra saying, “It happened on the very northernmost point of Oahu, at Turtle Bay. It was kind of spontaneous. It was very much a surprise.” He explains, “I had the ring in my pocket.. It has kind of been a month-and-a-half-plan. I wanted it to be private.”
Page Six adds that his fiancé was taking a selfie of them when the engagement happened.
Laura Savoie is a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas. They have been dating since this summer.
