‘TODAY’ Show Host Hoda Kotb Is Engaged

The TODAY host announced the news on the show this morning, saying, “I have to tell you something that a friend of mine, a friend of ours, asked me to let you guys in on a secret, Oh won’t tell you, well I’ll give you her initials. Her initials are Hoda Kotb, and she’s engaged.” Afterward, she pulled her had out from under the table for her very surprised co-anchors to see.
She goes on to explain that the couple was on vacation and having dinner on the beach when the proposal happened.
