2020 CMGA F.A.M.E.: Celebrating a Decade of Support for Film, Arts, Military & Entertainment
Naples, FL – 1 /8/20 – Celebrating a decade of support for film, arts, military and entertainment (F.A.M.E.), the 2020 Celebrity Martini Glass Auction F.A.M.E. is set for Saturday, March 14, at Artis—Naples, 5833 Pelican Bay Blvd, Naples, FL 34108.
Held annually, the event raises the question, “Who wouldn’t want to take home a celebrity?” The 2020 CMGA will feature a live auction of 10 artisanal martini glasses, live entertainment, details on the CMGA’s impact, an After-Party hosted by world-renowned chocolatier Norman Love, Norman Love Confections, and a star-studded line-up of celebrities.
“When I started the CMGA 10 years ago, I never imagined it would turn into one of the area’s premier events, let alone raise more than $4 million for local charities, including $3 million for nonprofits meeting the needs of veterans,” explains Founder & Creative Director Brenda Melton. “We’re so grateful to our sponsors and supporters for helping us ensure charities like the Naples International Film Festival, Artis—Naples, Take a Soldier Fishing, Honor Flight, Segs4Vets and Gulf Coast Veterans and Friends have the resources to continue transforming lives, families and communities.”
Proceeds from the by-invitation event benefit the Veterans Support Fund. Established in 2018 by the CMGA in partnership with the Community Foundation of Collier County, the Veterans Support Fund assesses and distributes funds to charities creatively meeting the physical, emotional, psychological and social needs of veterans.
