Happy Birthday to You Betty White! 98 looks good on you!
Betty White was born in 1992 – and grew up in Oak Park, Illinois.
The eight-time Emmy winner has had an impressive 80 year career and still counting.
Betty White has held regular roles on The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Golden Girls, and TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland
She even took the pioneering role of helping produce her 1950s sitcom Life With Elizabeth.
Yet she is most famous for starring in the beloved seven-season sitcom The Golden Girls alongside Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty.
The sitcom ran from 1985 to 1992.
Despite having been the oldest of the four main cast members, White is the last one still living after Rue died at the age of 76 in 2010.
A life-long animal advocate – White has sat on the Board of Trustees at the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association since 1974, and she’s the President Emerita of the Morris Animal Foundation.
Betty White once told Parade Magazine that there are two keys to a long life. “Accentuate the positive, not the negative. Vodka and hot dogs. Probably in that order.”
