‘Mean Girls: The Musical’ Is Coming To The Big Screen

If you liked the Mean Girls movie, and the Mean Girls musical, you’ll love the news that the Mean Girls musical is going to be a movie. Got all that?
Tina Fey made the announcement, saying, “I’m very excited to bring Mean Girls back to the big screen. It’s been incredibly gratifying to see how much the movie and the musical have meant to audiences. I’ve spent 16 years with these characters now. They are my Marvel Universe and I love them dearly.”
The Mean Girls musical has had a successful run on Broadway since 2018. According to Entertainment Weekly, producers plan on bringing the hit to London’s West End by 2021.
There is no word yet on when the Mean Girls musical movie will hit theaters.
