CSR Invites Seniors to Valentine’s Day Event
Naples, FL – 2/6/20 – Collier Senior Resources (CSR) at the Golden Gate Senior Center – a nonprofit organization working to address the needs of older adults and their caregivers – is hosting a free Valentine’s Day celebration for seniors at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020, at 4898 Coronado Parkway, Naples.
“For many seniors, limited opportunities to engage with others, especially if family lives elsewhere, lead to loneliness, isolation and depression with negative impacts on mental and physical health,” explains Senior Center Director Tatiana Fortune, MSW. “Events like our Valentine’s Day celebration provide our 1,400+ members a safe space to share memories, create new ones, stay active, learn and grow.”
Taking place Friday, February 14, 2020, at 11 a.m. at the Golden Gate Senior Center, CSR’s Valentine’s event is free, open to seniors and features refreshments, entertainment and camaraderie.
