Let’s encourage less screen time and more communing with nature! Children will enjoy a fun evening of learning about nature through activities and crafts that they can use to help enjoy their own backyard with family and friends. Let’s get crafty! The children will have fun making bug jars and bird feeders that they will take home to enhance their own backyard. All will enjoy an indoor scavenger hunt for critters and fun games.  Drinks and snacks included, just bring your imagination. Me time alert! Parents are not required to stay; go and enjoy dinner, shopping or socializing with friends.  This will be a great evening out for your child and a friend to enjoy socializing and this fun event together! Sunny 106.3 ‘s Sheila came to Florida from Ohio to pursue her adventures in a warmer climate near the ocean. It’s quite possible you may run across her and her dog, Daisy, out at any Southwest Florida event that has painting, live music, food, or anything near or in the water. Some of her other interests include learning to paddle-board, looking, and being more fit as well as learning to shoot a firearm. Sheila is also a member of the board for GROW Education Inc., a non-profit organization connecting schoolchildren to resources to promote the arts and literacy.
