Earlier this month CNN Business reported there is a surplus of “quality grapes,” which will lead to higher-quality wines being available at lower prices.
How much of a price cut and when those cuts will happen is not detailed, but the Allied Grape Growers said in their recent newsletter that “an estimated 100,000 tons of grapes were left hanging on vines without buyers last year.” Read more about it here: Wine Prices Expected to Drop Due to Grape Surplus.
