One Of NASA’s “Hidden Figures” Passes At 101

Katherine Johnson was one of the female mathematicians that calculated the first human spaceflight for NASA.
Johnson passed away Monday morning at the age of 101.
Her story was highlighted in the 2016 film, Hidden Figures.
NASA administration Jim Bridenstine said, “She was an American hero and her pioneering legacy will never be forgotten.”
