Trebek donated $100,000 to the Hope of Valley Rescue Mission, a nonprofit that focuses on homelessness, poverty, and hunger.
According to Ken Craft, CEO of the mission, Alex is a frequent donor and part of the mission will be named after Alex and his wife Jean.
Trebek's donation will help provide meals transportation, medical services, and travel for those that live at the mission.
