My Thoughts…Tom Brady: It’s ‘Officially Unofficial’ — He’s Going To The Buccaneers
As we reported, Tom Brady is about to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After 20 years in New England, 6 rings, TB12 is coming two hours north of the Fort. If one thing was going to get headlines with everything going on, this is it.
Full disclosure, I am a New York Jets fan. That’s another story for another time. However, I’ve spent the bulk of my radio career in New England. Boston, Portsmouth, NH and Cape Cod. I remember watching the game when Drew Bledsoe went down, and Tommy went in. My son Reilly was 7. He is now 26. It’s all he’s known. He’s devastated. And rightly so. 20 years and all that winning. It’s all he knows. I feel for my boy. I feel for Nee England. I am excited that my loser Jets have a chance. I am also excited for the Bucs.
I’ve watched Tommy for 20 years. He’s a winner through and through. Jordan level intensity. He also loved New England. For years, he would support Best Buddies Hyannisport, a 100 mile bike ride from Boston to Cape Cod. Raised a lot of money and a lot of love.
Famous wife, kids, champion. TB12 has it all. Now, he’s coming to Florida.
Good for him!!
Check out the great story from my friends at my sister station in Boston..

After a day of reports linking him to Tampa Bay, career-long Patriot and current free agent quarterback Tom Brady is indeed going to be a Buccaneer, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Jeff Darlington. The report comes without word of any official announcement or date set up for Brady and the Bucs, but that it will indeed happen “barring anything unforeseen.”
Tampa is the expected landing spot for Tom Brady barring anything unforeseen, sources tell me and @JeffDarlington.

There's no signing date or announcement officially set up, but Brady is expected to be a Buccaneer.
The unofficially official confirmation of Brady’s move to Tampa comes just hours after Colin Cowherd reported that a source close to Brady had told him that Brady made his decision and that it was Tampa Bay, and on the same day Brady informed the Patriots that he was leaving Foxborough after 20 seasons with the franchise.
