The American Heart Association has a pair of Radio PSAs, which address those “Underlying Conditions” we hear so much about.

DIABETES

Based on preliminary research it appears that those with underlying conditions, including heart disease and diabetes are at increased risk for serious complication from coronavirus disease. Those with type 2 diabetes should be more vigilant that ever in using free resources and tools, including monthly online tips provided by Know Diabetes by Heart, a joint initiative from the American Heart Association and American Diabetes Association.
