During this uniquely challenging time, we are committed to continuing our work together to fulfill our mission, to promote solutions for the needs of people with autism and their families. More than ever, we are so grateful for our dedicated community of supporters like you. Please know we are here for you. As always, the Autism Response Team remains available for support and we will continue to provide updated information and resources on our COVID-19 page.

As we celebrate World Autism Month and the millions of people touched by autism, we’re focused on our efforts to connect through kindness, even while social distancing. There are endless ways to brighten someone’s day from the comfort of your own home, and we’re counting on you to help us complete one million acts of kindness for people with autism this year.

Sunny 106.3 ‘s Sheila came to Florida from Ohio to pursue her adventures in a warmer climate near the ocean. It’s quite possible you may run across her and her dog, Daisy, out at any Southwest Florida event that has painting, live music, food, or anything near or in the water. Some of her other interests include learning to paddle-board, looking, and being more fit as well as learning to shoot a firearm. Sheila is also a member of the board for GROW Education Inc., a non-profit organization connecting schoolchildren to resources to promote the arts and literacy.
