Ralphie’s Top 8 Favorite Florida Foods

Hey everyone! It’s Ralphie here. If there’s anything you should know about me, it’s that I am a total foodie.

If you follow Sunny 106.3 on Facebook, you might have seen some of the food pictures I’ve shared. From pizza to meatballs to Shepard’s pie, I love it all.

  Since moving to Florida a year ago from Boston I've tried some pretty delicious food. I just had to share with you my top 8 favorite Florida foods. 

• Fried Fish

  As long as its white fish, like Grouper, I am in!!

• Florida Orange Juice

  Fun fact: When I first moved to SWFL, I stopped at the border welcome center and drank 10 glasses of Florida OJ.   Divine Donuts is located here in Southwest Florida and is my absolute favorite. I definitely recommend the Chunky Monkey.

  Who knew they were so good here, and so available!! Shrimp tacos are my favorite.
• BBQ!

  Who doesn't love a good Florida BBQ get together next to the pool with some friends? Pulled pork, brisket, ribs, and sausage... yum!

  Holy smokes, how delicious, who doesn’t like bread? Especially when it's freshly made. Wow!

• Sugar!

  Did you know that more than half of the United States' supply of cane sugar is produced in Florida? Even though it's not a food per se, but it’s made here and I LOVE it in my coffee.
