Andrea Meza of Mexico was crowned the 2021 Miss Universe Sunday night at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida.
The 26-year-old, who has a software engineering degree, finished first ahead of the Brazilian and Peruvian finalists. The previous winner, Zozibini Tunzi, fit the crown on Meza’s head before she took her first walk to the front of the stage.
Meza beat more than 70 contestants from around the globe in the 69th installment of Miss Universe.
